A New Way of Working

Like many leading edge production companies CLAi now shoot in a 4k Digital Cinema format rather than on 35mm film, which gives fantastic results and huge savings in budget and time, but it also completely changes the way a project comes together. There are no longer distinct lines between pre-production and production, and between the various production departments and post-production. Why? Because for Digital Cinema to work it requires a different mindset, and the ability to plan out in advance how a project can be efficiently captured in a manner that allows it to be seamlessly carried into post-production and then finished and mastered to produce the best possible results.

One way to ensure this is to consider pre-planning, the shoot and editing and finishing as a single entity. When CLAi produce a project this all happens automatically, because we handle all the pre-production, production and post-production in-house, on our own equipment, with our own key personnel.
